Cindy Anthony wrote a letter to her incarcerated daughter, Casey Anthony, on April 1, 2010. In the letter, Mrs. Anthony makes comments about her belief Caylee is still alive despite her mutilated corpse being found in the woods just down the street from the Anthony home in December 2008. Does he really think that if Caylee came home today that her shoes from 2 yrs ago would still fit her?! The other ignorant part of that question is why wouldn’t I donate them if she was alive.”
“One reporter from HLN had the stupidest comment of all” – Prior to this letter being written, Cindy Anthony contacted news media to alert them she would be donating many pairs of Caylee’s shoes to a charity for orphaned children. The public did not receive the news well and reporters for various media agencies questioned Mrs. Anthony about her intentions.
“he wanted to know why I would donate Cay’s shoes if I still believed she was alive” – During a hearing, Mrs. Anthony publicly announced she believed Caylee Anthony to still be alive and missing despite the medical examiner’s identification of remains found near the Anthony home as Caylee Anthony. The reporter questions Mrs. Anthony about this belief and the relevance such a belief would have on the donation of the missing girl’s shoes. Of note is the fact Mrs. Anthony uses the words “if I still believed” instead of “since I believe” or “because of my belief”. Mrs. Anthony uses the past tense “believed” instead of a present tense, indicating a past, not current, belief.
“These people are suppose to be intelligent and experts!” – Mrs. Anthony ridicules the reporters who dare to question her about her startling revelation of her belief and her need to publicly announce she would be donating shoes.
“Does he really think that if Caylee came home today that her shoes from 2 yrs ago would still fit her?!” – Mrs. Anthony uses this reasoning to demonstrate how not “intelligent” the reporter is. Mrs. Anthony avoids discussing her belief Caylee may still be alive by switching the subject to the shoes no longer fitting.
“The other ignorant part of that question is why wouldn’t I donate them if she was alive” – Mrs. Anthony uses the phrase “if she was alive”, the “alive” being in the past because of “was”. Mrs. Anthony does not use the phrase “even though she is alive”.
We have learned Mrs. Anthony consistently uses language which does not reflect she truly believes Caylee Anthony is alive.

I sure would like to ask her that question TODAY! As noted on the Caylee Foundation it shows under Caylee’s picture her date of birth and year of death…so what is it cindy????? I think all the spinning cindy has done last few years have left her…dizzy?!

I guess I have to look at the amount of justifying the Anthony’s offered up when their actions or statements have been questioned. I have found that when people feel that they have done or said the right thing that they don’t feel compelled to give justification for them afterwards. The Anthony’s behavior has been…. shall we say unique from day one. In answer to the question I don’t think Cindy believes Caylee is alive and further more believe that she knew exactly what she was cleaning up as far as the vehicle goes. Like dryer sheets was gonna help that odor. Unbelievable!
I can honestly say that Cindy Anthony is a HUGE sociopath who bred an exact offspring! That Memorial was for people to have empathy for Casey. Period. This woman’s LIES are so tangled, and she has backed herself into such a tight corner! If anyone deserves a tampering charge…it’s Cindy Anthony.
That “memorial” service was a huge farce! It was all to keep them in the public eye and feed Cindy’s ego. Truly grieving families don’t have memorial services for their loved ones in arenas!

Cindy knows and knew Caylee is dead. I feel strongly that she is using her tactics to try to say she is insane come trial so she won’t testify against her daughter. She really wants us to “THINK” she’s a nut. So Cindy stop pretending. We know you are. But because you wear her bones on your body you are lying.

She began implicating herself into the case too early on for her to think that her actions now will exclude her from being called. If she lies on the stand and it can be proven, she’ll be prosecuted for perjury on top of (I hope) obstruction. If she’d kept her mouth shut from the beginning and cooperated with the authorities instead of trying to stonewall, she’d have been a lot better off today. I hope she’s called and that she totally squirms on the stand. Gone, I believe, will be the attitude displayed at the Zenaida questioning session. I’d love to see Cindy tell the Prosecutor that a question isn’t relative to the case while she’s on the stand under oath!
I think Cindy was the first to know Caylee was dead after the murderess, Casey.
The CayleeDaily says that Buchanan is admitting she lied and altered the form she (eventually) turned in. Oh, and Cindy? She says this crazy girl was constantly bugging them and they wanted nothing to do with her. Never mind that we all just got done reading her back and forth with Buchanan: “GMA should be calling you soon. Love, Cindy” emails.

Cindy is a diabolical liar. From about two minutes into this mess she was distorting facts and misleading. Her pathetic attempt at appearing unbalanced is as believable as her being balanced. Figure that out!

Mrs Anthony never called Caylee “Cays” until after she read her “darling daughter”,the “wonderful mother” letters to Ms Adams.
Mrs Anthony knew from the moment she made the call to 911 to report her grandchild missing that “Cays” had no babysitter. In order to stay in her daughter’s good graces she will adapt and perform for Casey just the way she did when Casey lived at home. Nothing much has changed.
I don’t believe Cindy is a sociopath but I do believe she has been tormented, abused, manipulated and deceived by Casey. I never thought for a moment that Caylee was Casey’s only victim.

Cindy knew something was wrong when she posted on myspace, and her fears was confirmed when she got that car back with decomposition in the trunk.
She knows her daughter better then anyone and knows what she is capable of. She will forever be remembered as the lying Mother of a murderer. JMO
Casey had been gone from the home for over two weeks before she wrote her myspace pleading to return Caylee home. She contacted Casey for those two weeks and knew that she had been home (George must have told her he spoke with Casey about the gas cans on or about July 24, 2008) and it is abundantly clear that Cindy did not believe anything Casey was telling her about Zanny, the car accident, Tampa General as well as anything truthful about who was caring for Caylee (the make believe friend Juliette Lewis, mother of Annabell).
Yet when Cindy was asked by A and M to fill in the timeline (way back in August of 2008) Cindy admitted that “Casey’s story was a fabrication”.
There are very few people on the planet who would go to a towyard and retrieve their missing daughter’s car with the smell of decomposition eminating from the trunk and not call police. She covered for Casey then and she is covering for her now. It may end up costing Cindy her liberty should she be charge with obstruction. George is making very clear to anyone willing to look and listen that he is not going to be crushed by any oncoming buses that Casey has lined up for her family members.

What is going to happen with regard to WHOM?
Caylee – will remain dead.
Casey – will be tried and convicted of Murder (95%) or possibly manslaughter (5%). Unlikely that she will get the death penalty (25%).
Cindy – may end up being prosecuted for obstruction of justice and perjury based on her destruction of items of evidence, lies to law enforcement and lies under oath. What may save her: sympathy for Cindy having gone stark raving crazy.
George – may end up being prosecuted as Cindy’s accomplice.
Cindy and George will get a divorce after Casey’s criminal trial is over. They will fight over revenues from photos, videos, book/movie/TV deals, etc.

Venice,et al, The following video is a good reminder of just what Mr Ashton thinks of Mr Baez. He goes into great detail about Mr Baez’s conduct relative to what he has said during the early days of the death investigation and how Mr Baez violated lawyer/client confidences, and how on numerous occasions has misrepresented the truth, his client and members of the SAO.
It is worth setting the time aside to go back and review what might be incorporated into a disciplinary action against Mr Baez. I certainly don’t know what it would take to discipline Mr Baez but this video sure looks like someone is keeping a record of his misdeeds during pretrial.

I also noticed that this was before it was made mandatory that casey be present for all hearings. that must hae happened shortly thereafter.
Molly-We have never seen the prosecutors on television discussing this case nor have they discussed the case with any members of the “fourth estate”. They have kept their word that this case would be tried in a courtroom and not in the public square. This video clearly demonstrates that Mr Baez did not know what he was doing. That court appearance had to have been after Dec 9, 2008 when we see Mr Baez telling local Orlando media outlets that “Caylee is alive”.
Mr Baez apparently taught something to do with LexusNexus to oneL students in Florida. I never follwed that part of the story too much. But what I do know is that when he incorporates the internet in his trial strategy it gets him in a boatload of trouble.
I have a question: When Cindy was writing all her MySpace entries and whatnot, fearing something horrible had “happened”, during that lengthy period when she was unable to get in touch with Casey– why did she ever express fear/worry that something had happened to BOTH of them? I know George had spoken to her at some point, but still. Isn’t 48 hrs. with no contact long enough to fear for the two of them?
Why from the outset was her fear of being in danger (or worse) limited to Caylee?

kinda OT, but home sick nursing a cold so I was watching the Lee Anthony video visitation videos from July 25,2008. (3 parts). He asks Casey is there REALLY is another phone (you know, the one she left on her desk @ Universal and reported missing to Security 9 days ago LOL). She tells Lee there was. Why didn’t Lee & Cindy & George biatchslap that girl when she was home before her first arrest and then when home on bail both times? The “call” Casey got from Caylee on July 14 she was telling the detectives about? Lee had her cell phone records. There was no incoming call from a “private number” at noon that day and Caylee wasn’t calling anyone from her watery grave. I think this family should all be arrested for perpetuating this hoax.
